One old man (80) and his well-educated son (45) were both sitting on a sofa when a crow perched on their window. The father asked his son what was that, and the son replied that it was crow. After a few minutes, the father asked the same question, and the son said that he just told him what that was, it was a crow. After a while, the father sked his son the same question, and the son got irritated and rebuffed to his father that it was a crow. A little after this, the father asked his son again. Then, the son started shouting at his father. He yelled why he kept asking the same question over and over again, even though he told him the answer. He asked his father if he was not able to understand it.
A bit later, the father went to his room and came back, holding an old tattered diary. He had it since his son was born. He asked his son to read the opening page. This is what it said:
“Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child”. The father did not feel irritated when his son asked him the same question for 23 times, but rather he provided him with an answer and hugged him, however, the son answered his father 4 times and felt annoyed and irritated. You have to bear in mind that if your parent attain old age you should not repulse them or look at them as a burden. You should speak to them with a gracious word, be obedient and cool, humble, and kind. You should want to see your parents happy as they have cared for you since you were small. They have always showered their love to you and crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat in order to make you a person presentable in the society today. Make sure to serve your parents in your best way and you will say all good and kind words to them, no matter how they behave. Don’t forget to share this story with your friends and family.
