  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and set aside.

  2. Beat together the applesauce and sugar.

  3. Add the vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and eggs.

  4. Alternate the sour cream and flour, mixing well after each addition.

  5. Mix in the cocoa powder until well combined.

  6. Fold in the zucchini.

  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.

  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

  9. Allow the cake to cool before frosting.

  10. While the cake is cooling, prepare the frosting.

  11. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl or double boiler.

  12. Add the milk, yogurt and cocoa powder.

  13. Stir until the frosting is smooth.

  14. Pour the frosting over the cooled cake.

  15. Refrigerate until serving.
