gooey-butter-cookies People are addicted to cookies. There’s no house that you won’t find some cookies in store! I personally make them twice a week for times of need! Check out my latest recipe for gooey butter cookies. You’ll Need: 8 ounces of softened cream cheese. ½ cup of softened butter. 1 egg. ½ tsp of vanilla. 1 (18.50 ounce) box of white cake mix or yellow cake mix. Confectioners’ sugar. How to: Preheat the oven to 350°. In a bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter and mix in the egg and vanilla. Refrigerate for an hour or so. Roll the dough in 1 inch balls then roll in the confectioners’ sugar. Place the cookies in the cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool for 1 or 2 minutes before removing them to a wax rack to cool completely. Dust some confectioners’ sugar over the top and Voila! Easy, peasy and gooey! These little delights are so good. I usually make them on extra and store them in an airtight container for a week or so. Give this recipe a try and let me know what you think. Credit: 78recipes
